Catherine Thomas

Catherine Thomas has more than 20 years’ experience in the communications field, starting her career as an intern in a PR agency in 2003.  She has worked extensively in the food industry, including at FHCP (the industry association for food manufacturers), overseeing food and beverage client groups at Veritas Communication and for more than 9 years now at Loblaw.  In her role as Vice President, Communication, she oversees all aspects of the communication function – internal, external and the strategic communication services – for Canada’s largest food and pharmacy retailer. Her life outside of work is almost as busy, with two active kids playing all kinds of sports, and a passion of her own for outdoor activities like dog-walking, baseball and skiing.
